I need tips on riding my single speed bike uphills. Please?
Alright so I got this single speed vintage bike from like the 1940s and it works great and I learned how to ride it [in a FLAT parking lot] but I cant go up hills [which is all their is in my neighborhood]. Any tips?
My father thinks its impossible for me to go up the hills but I beg to differ, what do yall think?
I think the other answer is correct and your father is also correct . Dinosaurs went extinct for a reason and so did this bike of yours...if you want to properly execute a hill then you need to get yourself a multi speed bike and loose the heavy old SS. Yes you can do it and it is called "brute force" on the pedals, you will improve over time...or die trying.
