Which is the best road bike ( bicycle) i can buy?
I need to buy a good bicycle for daily commuting in the city. Please suggest any good bicycles. My budget being Rs.5000-6000. I'm loooking for a bike best suited for Bangalore roads! with good Comfort, speed, durability.
I would look in to buying either a BSA or Hercules roadster bike for around Rs. 3000-4000, and then spending the remainder upgrading any parts, such as the brakes, that might be necessary. A heavy steel bike with a sprung saddle will provide a very durable frame and a comfortable ride, and you can always upgrade any components that might not be up to the strength. Roadster bikes were designed over 100 years ago to be comfortable over bad roads, so they are a well proven design.
