Who agrees that there should be a law for cycle helmets on kids and adults?
Most kids wont wear them above a certain age, because they feel stupid or nurdy. Not caring that a cycle helmet could save their lives, hard to force a kid to keep a helmet on once they are above a certain age.
If it were law they all would (well most would).
Half of the accidents wouldnt be so bad if a helmet was worn.
Not sure how it would work as a law, fine the parents I guess, confiscate the bike..lol.
Any ideas on this?
Im in the UK. I agree that parents should bring up their kids and not the police. Anyone who has kids know that at a certain age, peer pressure is as powerful as the fear of being grounded by your parents, no matter how well you bring them up.
